Product Description

Material: clay glazed on the inside. Capacity: approx. 330 ml
The main advantage of the clay mattress is that you only need to rinse it with water. Recommended for beginners and those who do not have time to care for a calabash.
The clay keeps the temperature longer. It is heavier than a calabash, making it fit better in the hand. It does not sweat like the calabash. On the other hand, it is unfortunately less resistant to breakage.
Brewing Yerba Mate
1. Fill the vessel with the dried coffee from 1/2 to 3/4 of its capacity.
2. cover the opening of the vessel with your hand, turn the vessel upside down, and shake the vessel up and down vigorously several times. This procedure allows the finest parts of the mate and dust to move upward, thus reducing the risk of clogging the bombilla.
(3) The next step is to gently move the mate against the wall of the vessel. Proper placement of the dried mate prevents the finest parts of the mate from clogging the bombilla and the dust from entering through the inlet of the bombilla.
4 Next, a small amount of room-temperature water is slowly poured into the empty space until it is completely absorbed by the drought. The matero is still placed gently on the diagonal, the dry is on the wall. Pouring cold water is to avoid losing the nutritional value and aroma of the flowing znapar.
5. the Bombile should be placed in the empty space where the drought is not. Now gently pour warm water (up to 75°C) into the empty space. Pour almost to the brim, being careful to leave a small amount of still dry mate at the very top.
6.After adding the warm water, wait about 2-3 minutes and the infusion is ready to drink.
7.When the vessel is emptied of the infusion, you can add warm water until you no longer feel enough flavor coming from the infusion.
Other ingredients can be added to the dried mate to offset the bitterness (honey, sugar or herbs: mint, peppermint, lemon verbena, cornflower leaves and others). Sugar can be replaced with another substitute, for example, stevia, xylitolor erythrol.
Keep in mind the key points, i.e:
Don't stir the dried fruit with a bombilla, this causes clogging of its holes and formation of the so-called mud.
Pour cold water into the vessel first, to keep the aroma of the brew and its nutrients longer.
Shake the vessel by plugging its opening so that the finest elements of the mate remain at the top.
Use water with a maximum temperature of 75°C for subsequent infusions.
