Hibiscus flower is ideal both for making a pure infusion and as an addition to fruit and herbal teas, also as an enrichment for black tea. Bibiscus in its composition contains flavonoids and anthocyanins, showing antioxidant activity. Infusions of hibiscus calyxes in folk medicine are used as a remedy for the following effects: antibacterial, cholagogue and blood pressure lowering.
