Product description
Agar agar is a natural, plant-based gelling agent derived from red algae. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, it offers a popular alternative to animal-derived gelatin. The product is organic certified and perfect for preparing desserts, jellies, and other dishes requiring thickening.
Usage
1 teaspoon (5g) is sufficient for 500g of fruit or 500ml of liquid. 1 package (30g) is sufficient for 3kg of fruit or 3L of liquid.
Mix the agar with cold liquid and stir for 1-2 minutes. Then, bring to a boil and simmer for at least 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, and proceed with your recipe. The agar will only set and develop its full gelling properties once cooled to 40°C.
