Brazilian Yerba Mate Green Organic (Ilex Paraguariensis) is cultivated without harmful pesticides and fertilizers. It has a mild taste, making it ideal for those new to mate. The dried herb consists of 100% Yerba Mate leaves with a small (approx. 5%) proportion of other plant parts. It has a green color, with individual crushed brown leaf fragments and a few crushed white stem fragments.

Usage

Pour 2-3 teaspoons of the dried herb into a gourd (ceramic vessel). Pour in boiled water at a temperature of 70 to 80 degrees Celsius. Allow to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Drink using a Bombilla.
