DESCRIPTION
Prepared with 215 g of fruit per 100 g of product.
Producing jam without added sugar requires diligence. Whole fruit with skin, melt, puree through thick strainers and thicken in evaporators (vacuum cauldrons where the boiling point is 80°C). This makes the jam smooth. Since we do not add sugar or other sweeteners, such as grape juice, plum jam is slightly sour, with a pronounced taste of caramels.
Plum jam without added sugar can be spread on bread with butter, toast, roll or croissant. Gingerbread layered with this jam gets a noble wine flavor. Plum jam pairs well with natural cheese, cereals, rice cooked in milk. We suggest adding them to your morning oatmeal or muesli. You can also use them to make an interesting meat sauce or a dry plum soup.
