BIO rye bran can be consumed in many different ways. They taste great with dairy products, such as yogurt or kefir. They can also be added to soups, salads and sauces to enrich their nutritional value. Before consumption, we recommend subjecting the bran to a short heat treatment.
Product description
Organic rye bran is a product formed during the process of milling rye into rye grits. The bran consists mainly of the outer, most valuable layer of the grain, i.e. the fruit and seed coat. Bran is an excellent source of fiber, which is essential for the proper functioning of the digestive system. In addition, rye bran contains a small amount of fat, carbohydrates and protein. Their energy value is 1168 kJ/281 kcal per 100 g of product. BIO rye bran has a delicate, distinctive flavor that goes well with a variety of dishes.
