Salt lamp with tree motif 5.3 kg - Himalayan Salt
Description
The lamp is made of salt crystal and is a natural air ionizer, which effectively raises the level of negative ions in the rooms. The positive effects of negative ions can be felt when visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine, being at the seaside, or even walking directly after a storm. In salt lamps, the ionization effect is further enhanced by heating the salt crystals with the bulb inside. In this way, the salt lamp improves the quality of our environment and thus our well-being.
The set includes
- a lump of salt weighing approx. 5.3 kg in the shape of a circle with a wooden tree motif on a wooden stand, height approx. 25 cm
- white bulb holder, cable with switch with a length of 120 cm and a voltage of 250 V,
- incandescent bulb E14, 15 W.
Destination
The lamp will serve a decorative function, for example, in a child's room, bedroom or in the living room near the TV or computer.
Replacing the bulb in the lamp
1. Pull the lamp plug out of the socket.
2. Turn the lamp over so that you have good access to the electrical component.
3. Grasp the bottom part of the electrical component with two fingers and pull it slightly toward you until you can see the retaining spring. Do not pull on the electrical cord.
4. Grasp the spring with two fingers, squeezing it, and pull the electrical component out of the lamp. Pay attention to the retaining spring, because if the electrical component is pulled out incorrectly, it can, when it expands, painfully hit your fingers.
5. After screwing in the new bulb, the electrical component should be grasped with two fingers by the spring, so that it adheres to the holder and slide the entire electrical component into the hole in the lamp.
Cleaning method
- After unplugging, the lamp can be cleaned with a damp toothbrush or cloth, and then dried by turning the lamp on for several hours. Do not wet the hole in which the electrical component is placed
- Do not put salt lamps in water, as it can crack by water entering the microcracks, which are often not visible, but may be on the lamp what is natural
Note
Salt crystals are highly hygroscopic, i.e. attract water molecules from the atmosphere, so they should be used in dry areas. If the humidity in the room increases, such as during rain, the lamp should be turned off at that time.
Recommended storage conditions
It is not recommended to store the salt lamp in the bathroom, basement or keep it outside. The lamp should be positioned in such a way as to eliminate the risk of the lamp falling from a height.
