The VIVICOT BIO series of sanitary napkins and pads are made from selected raw materials and certified organic. Neither during the growth of the cotton and its harvest, nor at any stage of the production of the sanitary pads does the cotton come into contact with chemicals. As a result, BIO-cotton remains white, pure and pristine. In production, it was treated only with hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide water). The absence of bleaching agents such as chlorine and other aggressive bleaches ensures that the fibers of the sanitary pads are hypoallergenic. This means that their contact with the skin does not cause allergies, irritation and dermatitis. The cotton, so sourced and processed, retains maximum absorption and natural softness and delicacy.
TheVIVICOT BIO series of products are the first Italian sanitary napkins, pads and tampons that are biodegradable and compostable. These are highly ethical products that reduce waste and increase the use of renewable products. Not only are the sanitary pads and liners biodegradable, they are also fully compostable, including at home. This means that they can be placed in a home composter after use. The same goes for the wrapper, which looks like foil, but is actually made from cornstarch. The cardboard box is recycled and recyclable.
