Flour 00 is an Italian flour, used mainly for making pizzas. It is very finely ground - it resembles snow-white dust. Flour 00 is the flour most rich in gluten, and consequently… is caloric, but what is not done for a better dish? The taste of a pizza or other dish using 00 flour makes up for the number of calories eaten! That's why it's a good idea to have 00 flour in our cupboard, too. Baked dough made with 00 flour is soft and tender. The pizza we make with 00 flour is crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside. Due to the fact that 00 flour is finely ground, it is very quick and easy to knead dough from it.
00 flour is also suitable for dough for ravioli and light Italian rolls, bread and the typical Italian bread - focaccia. It is also ideal for baking sweet cakes and cookies. Its base makes delicious sponge cakes, delicious shortcakes and delicate cookies.
