Strawberry jam is whole fruits and their fragments submerged in thick syrup. The sugar gives the jam a beautiful glazed color and allows the color of the fruit to be preserved, and also prevents the contents of the jar from spoiling. Thus, the opened jam can be stored for a long time.
A touch of glucose syrup protects the jam from saccharification. Following the advice from Maria Ochorowicz Monatova's cookbook from the early 20th century, we add a little of this syrup to the jam.
We can serve the jam as an addition to toast, bread, cottage cheese, yogurt, porridge, pudding, pancakes, pancakes, pancakes, crumpets, omelets, ice cream.
