Organic unshelled black sesame is characterized by a slightly nutty, sweet flavor. When roasted, it can be a tasty and interesting color addition to vegetable dishes, cereal creams and soups. It goes well with meat and fish. Sesame seeds should be ground immediately before consumption. Soaking sesame beforehand improves its digestibility.
