Wild rice 500 g otherwise known as water oats. It is a species of grass, growing mainly in North America. The grains of wild rice resemble traditional rice in shape, but are dark in color and have a distinct cereal taste.
Usage: Wild rice goes well with both meat and fish dishes. It will also work well in salads and soups.
