BIO wormwood, also known as wormwood mugwort (Latin: Artemisia absinthium), is an herb with a long and rich history of use in natural medicine. It is characterized by an intense, bitter taste, which makes it less popular in everyday use, but highly valued in herbal medicine. Wormwood is primarily known for its ability to:

• Increase appetite
• Improve digestion and increase the secretion of digestive juices
• Supporting the function of the liver and bile ducts
• Fighting parasites and fungi in the body

Directions for use

Wormwood BIO can be used in several ways, depending on your preferences and needs:

• Wormwood tea: To prepare an infusion, pour one flat teaspoon of the herb over 250 ml of hot water at 90 - 100°C. Steep for 10 - 15 minutes. Due to the intense flavor, initially you can use a smaller amount of the herb.
• Wormwood tincture: Use strong alcohol (40-70%). Mix it in a ratio of 1:3 or 1:5 with wormwood. Macerate for 2 weeks, filter and pour into a dark bottle.
• Wormwood oil: You can also prepare wormwood oil by using the herb in the right proportion with the base oil.

Notes

Wormwood is not recommended in the following cases:

• Pregnancy and lactation period
• Stomach and duodenal ulcers
• Allergic reactions to wormwood
• Do not give to children
• Avoid consuming in excessive amounts to prevent potential side effects such as gastrointestinal irritation, dizziness, nausea or mental agitation
