Yerba Mate Bio Green Organic Bio Despalada is 100% organic dried Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis), sourced from organic plantations in Brazil's Taquari Valley. The mate leaves are hand-harvested from ancient forests and offered as the most potent 'despalada' type after 2-3 months of curing. This product holds Agrobiotest and ECOCERT certifications, guaranteeing its organic origin. The dried leaves consist of 95% large leaves and 5% small stem fragments from the heart of the leaves, with no dust. Yerba Mate Green is renowned for its delicate, mild, and less bitter taste compared to Argentine or Paraguayan varieties, making it an ideal choice for those new to yerba mate. Its distinct flavor profile results from cultivation in a less sun-exposed environment.
Usage
Pour 2-3 teaspoons of the dried mate into a gourd (a ceramic vessel). Pour over with boiled water at 70-80°C. Allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. Drink using a bombilla.
